Moving Up to Serve You Better

All Star Auto just moved! We’ve upgraded our shop space, our office space, and our customer waiting space – all to better serve you, our customer!

Now located in the heart of Middlesex in the old fire station, All Star Auto is better located to repair your car, truck, or vehicle. When you need car maintenance , automotive repair, oil changes, tires, and more, All Star Auto is the best mechanic for those in Middlesex, Zebulon, Nash County, East Wake County, Northern Johnston County, Bailey, Spring Hope, and surrounding areas.

Our new space will continue to evolve as we get comfortable. We have plans for a fun waiting room with kid-friendly activities and room for the little ones to run. All Star Auto is, as always, a family-first business, and we moved so we could have a more welcoming “home” to invite you into.

Come by and see our auto shop and car repair facilities in Middlesex! While you’re here, ask your car questions and let Russ help you find an affordable and reliable solution to your automotive needs.

The Importance of Changing Your Timing Belt

Remember to check your maintenance intervals for your timing belt. Many times we see customers come in with a car that won’t run, and the timing belt has failed. In many cases, with certain types of cars, this can be a very expensive fix. Learn more about timing belts here if you want the details.

The CRITICAL thing to know is whether your car has an “interference type” engine. If so, you risk destroying the engine with a failed belt. See the picture below, and links at the bottom to check if your car is on this list.

A Broken Timing Belt

Here is a short list of some common cars where timing belt replacement is super critical.  For a more extensive list, you can look for your car here.

If you aren’t sure, bring your car down, and we’ll take a look at your mileage, your maintenance history, and your engine to help determine if you need a new belt.

Work or Play While We Work

Here at All Star Auto, we’re working to make our shop a little more comfortable for our customers. We know waiting on a mechanic to service your vehicle is not the most fun thing in the world, so we’ve just added FREE wireless internet access for our customers.

While we change your oil, rotate tires, or fix what needs fixing, you’re welcome to sit at our desk, browse the web from your phone or tablet, and maybe even help the kids with a little bit of homework.

Don’t let taking care of your car get in the way of your life. We’re working hard to make vehicle maintenance as easy as possible for you. Isn’t that how you’re supposed to treat your friends?

Special Event! Daddy / Daughter Car Care Clinic

Russ and soon-to-be driver Chelsea

Russ and soon-to-be driver Chelsea

My daughter is almost old enough to drive. But before she gets there, she needs to know some things about her car. Fortunately, I know a little about cars!

Lots of families in our community have daughters driving or about to drive – and some little girls who may still be years off. We at All Star want to make sure our community is full of safe, knowledgeable drivers.

On Sunday, October 13th at 2:00pm, come on down – Dads and daughters (but really, anyone is welcome, Moms, sons – just come have fun).

Russ will lead a quick workshop on the basics of taking care of your car: changing a tire, changing oil, and all the other little things your new driver will need to know in an emergency.

The All Star “New Driver” workshop is free to all comers! Stick around afterward and use our tools and our shop (with our help) to change your own oil, rotate your tires, and top off your fluids – all for $5 off our normal prices. We’ll even do a multi-point safety inspection and show you and your daughter what to watch for on HER car. All this for $39 (up to 5 quarts). Bring your own oil and filter and save $25.

The All Star team will also have free lunch for all attendees!

Spots are limited – please call or email to reserve your space now! 252-235-3122 or russ@allstarautonc.com.
